The Lindsays Trophy event is off and running for 2025-26.

Our cross country participation competition is now staged via a three-tier league system.

Clubs are on ‘the podium’, and promoted and relegated, via their finisher numbers at three major events in the Lindsays Cross Country Season.

Today we can confirm the standings after round one – the Lindsays National XC Relays at Cumbernauld.

Round two will take place via the finisher numbers from the Lindsays Short Course XC at Lanark on Saturday.

In Tier One, our leaders are Edinburgh AC (71) with Giffnock North in second (75) and Garscube Harriers third (62).

In Tier Two, our leaders are Kilbarchan AAC (41) with Kilmarnock Harriers in second (33). Two clubs are tied for third on 31 points – Inverclyde AC and Stirling Uni.

In Tier Three, our leaders are Calderglen Harriers (24) with Springburn Harriers in second (3=21). Two clubs are tied for third on 17 points – Cumbernauld AAC and Perth Road Runners.
