Performances on scotstats.net
There were solid performances on the road by Scots in action in Spain and Yorkshire over the weekend.
Callum Hawkins and his brother Derek continued their return to full fitness and race competition at the Valencia Half Marathon ahead of a full marathon before the end of the year at the same venue.
Callum finished 24th with a run (chip times given here) of 63:33 while Derek was at 65:00 on a day when humid conditions made it tough.
At the Abbey Dash 10k in Leeds, Alasdair Kinloch clocked 30:07 and Peter Avant 30:30. In the same race, Sarah Potter dipped below 35 minutes with 34:48 while Eilidh Bell was at 35:11.

Great to fit in one last outdoor competition at the Autumn Throws Meeting before heading inside for the indoor season. Thanks to @AliGrey73, Jim Green and everyone at @scotathletics for giving our athletes these opportunities. Well done to all @KillieHarriers who competed today. pic.twitter.com/B0ieimWlMK

scottishathletics were pleased to stage our Autumn Throws Meet at Grangemouth on Saturday.
Thanks to around 50 athletes – and their coaches – for supporting the event and competing despite the wet weather conditions.
The highlight performance was young Scotland international, Aberdeen AAC’s Angela McAuslan- Kelly, opening her account with a 4K hammer (as an U20) with 50.41m
Big thank you to Alison Grey and Jim Green as well as all our Officials at Grangemouth who helped make the event happen.
