Magnificent Muir! Laura lands seventh European title with 1500m win in Istanbul

Laura Muir and Neil Gourley savoured special medal moments at the European Indoors in Turkey.

And we are delighted now to share full race coverage from Istanbul with thanks to European Athletics.

You can watch the Women’s 1500m final as Laura works through the field from the early stages to take a thrilling gold and become the first British athletes to win five titles at the European Indoors.

In fact, it was the seventh title overall for Laura, with two outdoor successes added to two indoors doubles over 1500m/3000m and now gold in Istanbul.

We are pleased also to have the full race action as Neil took the first major international medal of his career as he landed silver in the Men’s 1500m – after a thrilling battle with Jakob Ingebrigtsen.
