Scotland ultra runners named for ACP 100k international in May

Scotland teams have been named for an ultra running international coming up in May.

Athletes compete over 100k at the Anglo Celtic Plate event which will take place on Saturday 3 May in Leicester.

Runners will contest the 100k on the motor racing circuit where one lap is 4.782km (so they will race 20.72 laps).

We are delighted today to confirm the selections.

Scotland Women:

Jo Wilson (Aberdeen Metro); Jacqueline Wilson (unattached); Danielle Callaghan (Falkirk Victoria Harriers)

Scotland Men:

Michael Deason (Shettleston); Henry Hart (Belgrave); David Shaw (unattached);  Adam Gray (Penicuik); Joe Beaton (Tavistock AC)

Many congratulations to all the athletes selected to represent Scotland and to their families, coaches and clubs.

There are first time vest in ultra running for David, Adam, Joe and Danielle.
