Scottish athletes head for Birmingham this weekend for one of the highlights of the indoor season.
The Microplus UK Indoor Championships take place over Saturday and Sunday and double up as trials for big events in March.
Holland plays host to the European Indoors early next month and then, a couple of weeks later, the World Indoors heads for Nanjing in China.
So Scottish athletes this weekend can chase selection places but also personal bests, places in finals and coveted podium moments at a UK Indoor Champs.
A few in the mix for European selection include Laura Muir, Neil Gourley and Erin Wallace.
Alyson Bell is in PB form and could also be in the hunt for medals after a fine silver run at BUCS last weekend where that 7.30 time took her closer to the Scottish Record in this event (7.27 held by Alisha Rees).
Long jumpers Alessandro Schenini and Stephen Mackenzie have also been in PB and record-breaking form and could challenge for a podium place. Alessandro set a new Scottish Record 7.86m this month’s EAP Indoor International Glasgow, with Stephen just 1cm short of this at BUCS.
Amy Kennedy, after gold at BUCS, should be in medal contention in the shot after recent fine performances by the Cumbernauld AAC athlete.
Some athletes missing from the line up include Josh Kerr, Nicole Yeargin and Jemma Reekie, who have chosen to focus on the outdoor season.
The event will be live streamed on BBC Sport via the website and red button.
