UK Athletics Members – representatives sought for clubs and coaches

The UK Athletics Members group is looking for two new representatives.
These are volunteer positions and nominations are being sought for:
*Affiliated Club Member representative
*Coach Member representative
Meetings of the UK Athletics Members Council take place three times a year and these roles are expected to run to December 2029.
The purpose of the club rep role is to bring the perspective of Affiliated Clubs to the UKA Members Council. The role has a UK wide responsibility and, as such, is representative of the four Home Countries.
The coach rep has responsibilities to be consulted on the development of UKA strategy and to act as a sounding board for the UKA Board.
The coach rep will also be expected to help create an environment for dialogue and discussion and to build relationships with key Coach Development personnel in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales to help share Best Practice in line with the UK Wide Coaching Strategy for Athletics.
