Top Scottish athletes head for Nottingham this weekend for the Inter-Counties XC event.
The races on Saturday will conclude the British Cross Challenge series for this winter and also influence selections for the World Cross.
Lindsays National XC winners Jamie Crowe of Central AC and Alice Goodall of Edinburgh AC will harbour hopes of making that British team.
Both have represented GB and NI in the past in cross country while the Falkirk silver medallist, Scott Stirling, is another hoping to be in contention in the Senior Men’s race.
At U20 levels there are a number of Scots who hope to be in the running: Natasha Phillips, our champion at Falkirk; Millie McClelland-Brooks (our U17 champion but running up an age to try to qualify); Logan Beagley; Craig Shennan (running up an age also).
At U17 level, Zara Redmond of Kilbarchan AAC is chasing a good position in the overall British Cross Challenge Season and similarly Ronnie Brown at U17 Men.
Scotland East and Scotland West will have full teams at U17 and U15 level.
