WATCH: Four videos from Tru Wealth Scottish 5k Champs

scottishathletics are working hard to deliver the best possible media and communications coverage of our our significant event.

Within budget confines, we are always seeking to find ways to improve the competitive experience for athletes and, in particular, add value and status to Scottish Championship[ events.

So we’re pleased to deliver four different films from the Tru Wealth Scottish 5k Champs which took place at Silverknowes last Friday night.

The overall video (above) takes in superb drone footage, action from both the start and the finish areas and is augmented by still images from Bobby Gavin. Thanks to Duncan Birse for producing the film.

Above, there’s a finish line film put together by our digital comms officer, Sue Gyford, which seeks to capture athletes as they complete the 5k.

And we also have interviews with Men’s winner Jonny Glen and Women’s winner Annabel Simpson. Annabel was joined by her coach, Steve Doig.
