Resilience ethos: Key theme for our National Club Conference in Glasgow

Paralympian Derek Rae and Olympic and World champion Christine Ohuruogu are the guest speakers at our National Club Conference this weekend.

The theme for Saturday’s gathering is ‘Resilience’ with key contributions from clubs as well as the two keynote speakers.

Derek and Christine will give fascinating insights to their careers and the pathway in our sport at the Hilton Hotel as the National Club Conferences takes place earlier in the day of our 4J Annual Awards.

We look forward to welcoming delegates and there will be club presentations from:

*Inverclyde AC

*Pitreavie AAC

*West Dunbartonshire AC

Athletics Trust Scotland will be in attendance as well as our President, John Rodger; Chair, David Ovens; and Chief Executive, Colin Hutchison.

Fife AC legend Derek will be our Keynote Speaker in the morning while, towards the end of the National Club Conference, Christine will be interviewed by our Chair David Ovens in what will be an absorbing Q and A.
