Emirates ready to host busy 4J Senior and U18 Champs on Saturday

All roads lead back to the Emirates Arena this weekend as we host our 4J Senior and U18 Champs.

The National Open two weekends ago marked a great start to the Scottish Indoor Season with some exciting participation and big entry numbers

Now coveted Scottish National Championships medals are on offer at Senior and at u18 level at the Glasgow venue on Saturday,

Interest was such that we received more than 900 event entries across the two age groups with 560 names now on the Emirates start-lists.

That is a great response and at this point we say thank you to all athletes who entered and to their families, coaches and clubs.

The 4J Senior and U18 Champs will not happen without the commitment and dedication of our qualified scottishathletics Officials. We say a heartfelt Thank You in advance to them, too.

As is often the case, we will have a full range of coverage of the event across our social media platforms

Photographer Bobby Gavin will be there as always to capture the best photos from the event – and we will post those during and after the action concludes.

We expect to have video content across our You Tube Channel and our Instagram page; hopefully throughout the day and into Sunday.

Online entry fees: Spectators – £4 / Coach members of scottishathletics – Free

A pay on the day option of £6 by card only is available for those who have not registered in advance.

Coach members must register in advance if they wish to avoid the £6 on the door fee: we will not be able to check memberships on the day for free entry. Those intending to pay on the day must be prepared to queue.
