Alice and Matt land Scottish Student XC golds in Glasgow

There were Scottish Student Sport title wins this weekend for Edinburgh Uni Hare and Hounds duo Matt Knowles and Alice Goodall.

Races took place over a hilly course at Alexandra Park in Glasgow and the Men’s featured a top six with athletes from six different institutions. Both races were over 8k.

Matt won that race from Christian Graham of Dundee Uni and Noah Lambert of St Andrews.

Alice won the Women’s race from Meredith Reid of Strathclyde Uni and Clare Stewart of Glasgow Uni.

Well done to all the students who raced, with 13 different institutions represented, and to organisers Scottish Student Sport as well as volunteers and marshals on the day.
