Eighteen Scottish Officials have been selected to officiate at this year’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Selection for an international event of this scale is a great achievement, and an endorsement of the skills and commitment of all those chosen – all at scottishathletics would like to extend our congratulations.

Officials Commission Convenor Margaret Brown expressed her own pride at the selection: ‘I would like to congratulate all 18 of our Scottish Officials who have been selected for the Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham.

‘It’s a great achievement, well deserved for our hard-working colleagues.

‘Athletics has had its challenges during the last two years because of the Covid pandemic but our Officials stepped up and contributed hugely during this time and are now justly rewarded for doing so.

‘I wholeheartedly congratulate all Officials selected as NTOs (National Technical Officials) and wish them good luck for a successful and enjoyable Games.”
