scottishathletics are pleased to confirm the 2017 Scottish 10-Mile Road Race Champs will take place at the Tom Scott Memorial Road Races in April.
Hundreds of athletes from far and wide travel to Strathclyde Park on Sunday 2 April to take part in one of two races, the 10-Mile Championship race and the Round the Loch 6k.
The Tom Scott 10=Mile race, which is hosted by Law and District AAC, has played host in recent years to the Scottish 10 Mile Championships and West District 10 Mile Championships. The Scottish Veteran Harriers Club (SVHC) have also elected the race as one of their Championship events for many years.
The Round the Loch 6k attracts athletes of all abilities – and it is a great run for those who prefer shorter distances!
Entries are now open via the online system for both races and there are no entries on the day – with the races likely to sell out with record fields in recent years. Both races start at 10am; athletes will split at just beyon the 3-mile mark
Venue: Water Sports Centre, Strathclyde Park, Motherwell, ML1 3ED
Minimum Age: 17 and over for 10 mile; 13 and over for 6k (ages on day of race)
Entry Fees: 10-Mile: £12 (£14 non scottishathletics members); 6k: £10 (£12 for non scottishathletics members)
Entries: Please use the online entry system 10-Mile and Round the Loch 6K
