Scotland teams to return to Home Nations 5k event in Cardiff
Scotland will be represented by teams at the Podium Home Nations 5k event in Wales later this summer.
The Road Running and Cross Country Commission have accepted an invitation to the event which takes place in Cardiff on Saturday 24 August.
It’s another international opportunity on the road for Scottish athletes and we are delighted to be picking eight athletes in total for the return to the Home Nations Podium event.
Four men and four women will be selected to race 5k with the selection date being Monday 15 July. One U23 athlete for each team may be selected, as appropriate.
Performances this summer will be taken into consideration for the Scotland teams to head to Wales.
