International Handbook: Track and Field opportunities
Scotland will take a Senior Track and Field team to the Loughborough International next month.
The traditional early-season match takes place this year on Sunday 21 May at the Paula Radcliffe Stadium in Loughborough.
And Scotland will be represented by a team in the event with further details lodged within our Track and Field International Handbook (elsewhere on this website).
There will be a maximum of one athlete per event.
Selection will be based primarily on performances from the 2022 season and 2023 Indoor Season. Consideration will also be given to early 2023 Outdoors season form.
Events
Women: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m/Mile, 3000m/5000m, 3000m SC, 100mH, 400mH, 4 x 100m, 4 x 400m
High Jump, Long Jump, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, Hammer, Shot, Discus, Javelin
Men: 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m/Mile, 3000m/5000m, 3000mSC, 110mH, 400mH, 4 x 100m, 4 x 400m
High Jump, Long Jump, Pole Vault, Triple Jump, Hammer, Shot, Discus, Javelin
*We expect Para events to be confirmed in due course (with Scotland selections for those events)

Additional Information:
Personal Coach Accreditation – TBC
Travel and Accommodation – Athletes will be asked to book their own travel and a contribution will be made from scottishathletics. Accommodation will be provided.
Other Teams:
Awaiting final confirmation but it is expected that, as is usually the case, Scottish athletes may be selected for the event to compete for other teams such as the hosts, Loughborough Uni, or GB and NI U20s.
