Road Race GP shares awarded – with Brogan and Sean our top performers
We are pleased to confirm the Scottish Road Race Championship Series for 2026
The Road Running and Cross Country Commission have been working with event organisers on plans for next year after a very successful 2025.
And we are now in a position to reveal the events involved and flag-up dates and venues.
The five races outlined below will as usual form the Road Race Grand Prix series, with £4000 of prize-money shared by men and women.
Road Race Championship Series/Grand Prix for 2026
Scottish Half Marathon Champs: Inverness Half Marathon – Sunday 8 March
Scottish Ten-Mile Champs: Tom Scott Road Races – Sunday 29 March
Scottish Marathon Champs: TCS London Marathon – Sunday 26 April
Scottish 5K Champs: Silverknowes – Friday 1 May
Scottish 10K Champs: Babcock Shettleston 10K – Sunday 10 May
At this stage, we say warm thank you to those event organisers involved in the delivery of Scottish Road Race Championship events in 2025 and well done to those now selected as hosts for 2026
In ultra running, we are looking at:
Anglo Celtic Plate 100K Dublin – Saturday 21 March
Scottish 50K – TBC

UK Good for Age entry and Championship entry expected to open 1 October 2025
ACP will be the Scottish 100K Championship
