Scottish athletes were at the Manchester International to represent Scotland in small teams.
Our Para project was represented and there were teams in the 4x100m relay events in the event hosted by England Athletics.
Well done to all the athletes who wore Scotland vests and thanks to their coaches and to team managers on this international opportunity.
Scotitsh Para athlete wore kit as part of our Para Project and we were delighted to have six competing in Manchester
The windy conditions made it a real challenge particularly for the wheelchair athletes.

As mentioned, conditions were far from ideal so the relay events were more about the position than the time.
Happily, there were victories for both of our 4x100m teams!
Scotland men took the race against England and Jersey in 40.26 thanks to the efforts of Krishawn Aiken, Dean Patterson, Greg Kelly and Owen Murphy.
Scotland Women won their 4x100m race with England in 45.71 thanks to the efforts of Taylah Paterson, Sarah Malone, Charlotte Bevan and Sophie Thomas.
Alessandro Schenini won the Men’s Long Jump – with one jump in the awful conditions – at 7.39m and Hannah Wallace was second with 6.19m in the women’s long jump.
