Knockfarrel Hill Race
Organised by Highland Hill Runners, the race takes place this Saturday (November 4) and marks the fourth staging of the scottishthletics North District Hill Championships.
The race starts at 1pm from the Old Station in Strathpeffer. Registration is open from 11.45am, and parking is available, at the Strathpeffer Shinty Pavillion. Entry fee: £5 (or £7 for non SA members). Entry on the day only. You must be over 16 on race day.
The race is 8km, with a total climb of 360m. The course records have both stood for some time: Male: 37:24 – Graeme Bartlett (2000); Female: 43:20 – Tracey Brindley (2004).

Medals for the North District Champs will be awarded in the following categories (providing you are a scotttishathletics member) : U20, Senior, V40,V50 and teams. There are also prizes for the leading males and females, plus age categories and club prizes.
Prize-giving and refreshments will be available after the race back in the Shinty Pavillion.
