It’s almost time to get back to the track (and field) for the 2022 summer season – and the first championship event will be the Night of the 10ks.

The Glasgow Athletics Association are hosts for races organised under the auspices of the British Milers Club at Crownpoint in Glasgow on Friday 29 April.

And we’re delighted that Seniors and Masters athletes will contest Scottish Championship medals that evening, as has been the case over recent years prior to the global pandemic.

Entries are open via the BMC website.

10,000m running on the track is something that the GAA and scottishathletics are keen to develop with the aim being to improve quality and depth in the Scottish rankings.

So the GAA Miler Meet Night of 10ks will be the Scottish Championship (Seniors and Masters) event for the 2022 track season and will provide paced 10,000m races for Scotland’s top male and female endurance athletes (U20 and older).
