Our 4J National Track Relay Champs were one of our biggest events of last summer, as huge numbers gathered to compete at Linwood.
Grangemouth is the venue this time for this National Championship event – which takes place on Saturday 10 September.
Entries are open now to clubs and there are races to suit all age groups from U13 through to Seniors.
The closing date is at midnight on Thursday 25 August.
Here’s the Event information in terms of the races on offer . . .
30 Teams 3x800m U13/U15/U17/Senior
24 Teams 4x400m U17 Men/Senior
24 Teams 4x300m U15/U17 Women
32 Teams 4x100m U13/U15/U17/ Senior
(U20 athletes compete as Seniors at this event)
(3x800m/4x400m/4x300m Races will be held as Timed Finals)
(Club A Teams will be seeded together, followed by B Teams)
All Clubs are limited to a maximum of two Teams per Age Group per event.
If a club wishes to enter more than two Teams per age group in a particular event, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to register interest.
Additional teams will be allocated following the closing date if space allows.
Further points to note:
*All entries must be submitted online by clubs through the club portal. There will be no entries accepted on the day.
*Clubs are asked to identify a pool of eligible athletes at the point of entry, and will only confirm their final teams at declarations on the day of the event. Clubs should register any athlete who they may wish to attend on their entry (as final teams will be selected from this list).
*All athletes entering must hold an up to date membership of scottishathletics valid for the competition date at the point of entry.
