Preparations for the Lindsays National XC at Falkirk in February are well underway – with the usual big effort from host club Falkirk Victoria Harriers.

Anyone who was there for the last edition of the event, in February 2020, will remember appalling conditions both the week prior to race day and then on that day as well.

So it was fitting in many ways that our 2020 4J Awards, which were presented virtually, should feature the special Tom Stillie Sword Award to David Lothian and Andrew Stevenson of Falkirk Vics for all their hard work around setting up the National XC.

Events Manager Alasdhair Love made the presentation to the guys the other day – as they conducted a site visit ahead of the 2022 Lindsays National XC!
