The scottishathletics Indoor Season is coming soon at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

And we’re delighted to confirm that online entries are already coming in for a series of events through January and February via our online system.

All but one championship event is already open for entries – with the exception being the 3000m Champs which come under the auspices of the Glasgow Athletics Association at their Miler Meet (with entries to open early in December via the British Milers Club).

We’re also taking entries for the National Open at the Emirates on Saturday 18 January which traditionally many track and field athletes use to start their indoor season.

Please note that entry restrictions for some events at the National Open are out-lined on the Event section page. The closing date for this one is Thursday 2 January.

With the high profile Muller Grand Prix and the SPAR British Champs also coming to the Glasgow venue in February, it will be a truly hectic period at the Emirates. As well as Scottish Championship events, there are Scottish Schools and Scottish Student Sport events now scheduled during that spell.

So make sure you know the dates and use the online entry system now to make sure you secure your chance to compete.

The Age Group Champs on the weekend of February 29 and March 1 conclude the Indoor Season.

On that weekend, the U13s are on the Saturday (Feb 29) and the U15s are on the Saturday (March 1) with the U20 programme split over the two days, as has been the custom in recent years. Provisional timetables are on the Event section pages.
