Logan and Scott 1-2 at British 10k trial and Beth wins, too
There were fine performances at the Pulford 10k race that served as GB and NI trail for the European Road Running Champs.
Logan Rees of Fife AC won the race in 28.38 and was followed home by Scott Stirling of Falkirk Victoria Harriers at 28.44. Andrew Fyffe was sixth in 29.31.
The British standard being asked for men was at 28.20.
Beth Potter won the women’s race at 31.18. that was inside the 32:20 being asked for women but Beth may have triathlon commitments when the event takes place in Belgium in April.
