This means the junior event, the London Mini Marathon (LMM) will take place on the morning of Saturday 24 April, before the men’s race, covering the normal 2.6K race route.
For athletes, coaches and parents who hope to participate in the event please be aware the SQA exams start on Monday 26 April, with Nat 5 Mathematics scheduled for Monday morning and Higher Mathematics on Monday afternoon.
The Scottish teams plan to travel down to London on Friday 23 April and return after the race on Saturday afternoon.
Selections for the LMM are at the Lindsays National Young Athletes Road Race Championships (YARR), in East Fortune on 27 February; where U18 are born in 2010-2011 and U16 are born in 2012-2013.
Some athletes in the U18 race will be eligible for the U16 event in the LMM due to England using different age group definitions to those used in Scotland.
