Scottish athlete Kaya Slater won a relay silver medal at the European U20 Champs in Finland.
Five young Scots were with the GB and NI team for the event in Tampere.
Kaya featured in British relay success at European age groups once again as she followed on for medals at the European U23 Champs for Alyson Bell and Rebecca Grieve.
The Reading AC athlete represents Falkirk Vics and teamed up with Nell Desir, Lucy Tallon and Mabel Akande in Finland to get the baton round in 43.98 for second place in the 4x100m final. Kay a had reached the semis in the individual 100m.
Unfortunately, the Men’s 4x100m team suffered mishap and were DNF in their final. Dean Patterson had featured in the team coming through the heat but was not involved in the final.
Oliver Patton fared best of the three Scots selected for individual events.
The Kilbarchan AAC athlete came through his heat to reach the Men’s 1500m final on Sunday afternoon. A run of 3:52.06 gave the Scot tenth place in that final.
Reiss Marshall had raced on Friday evening in a straight final for the Men’s 5000m. The Fife AC athlete finished in 13th place with 21 athletes having started the race.
Oliver MacDonald raced in the Men’s 3000m and was just one place away from reaching the final.
