Jumps Series 3; ERRA Road Relays; Performance Admin job

The third and final event of the scottishathletics Jumps Series events is coming up soon at Linwood.

Saturday 14 September is the date for diaries and competition plans for the Jumps Series 3 event which offers competitions in high jump, long jump and triple jump.

The previous events in Aberdeen and Pitreavie were well-supported and we’d love to see jumpers and their coaches make the most of this end-of-season opportunity in the West of Scotland.

ERRA Six and Four-Stage Road Relays

Scottish clubs are allowed to compete at the ERRA Senior Road Relays taking place at Sutton Park in Birmingham on Sunday 6 October.

The men’s event is six stages and the women’s event is four stages and scottishathletics have been invited to put forward three clubs for each division.

Thus we are asking those clubs keen to take Senior teams to this race to get in touch with us in order to easy the entry process with ERRA.

Performance administrator

Want to work in athletics?

We could have just the job for you – as Performance Administrator on the scottishathletics team.

This part-time role is right for someone who has a passion for sport and a gift for organisation.

Reporting to the Director of Performance and Coaching, Stephen Maguire, you will help keep the performance and coaching team, including Event Group Managers (in coach, athlete and event development), up and running.

We’re looking for a highly-organised and effective communicator with a minimum of three years’ admin experience.
