Big thank you to Jo Butterfield after key role with Board
Jo Butterfield joins our Board (March 2016)
Jo Butterfield has completed two terms on our Board as a Non-Executive director.
All at scottishathletics would like to thank Jo for her volunteer service to the sport over an eight-year spell in the role.
The wheelchair thrower was very much still a competing athlete when joining the Board back in March 2016 – and only a few months later won Paralympic gold in Rio with a World Record in the F51 Club Throw category.
‘I want to thank Jo for her excellent service to our sport over a number of years,’ said our chair, David Ovens.
‘She has served on our Board for two four-year terms and made a very valuable contribution during that time.
‘We wish her well for the future and will miss her advice and insight. Thanks, Jo.’
