Junior Hill Champs round-up

Scotland have selected teams for the Junior Home International for young hill runners.

It is a great chance for these young athletes to wear the Scotland vest – many for the very first time – enjoy international competition

The event is taking place in Newcastle in Northern Ireland on Saturday 4 September and pitches our team in against England, Wales and Northern Ireland for the Junior Home International as well as further team from Ireland.

Races are at U17 and U20 level with the course now the same for both age groups at around 4k and 393m of climb.

Congratulations from scottishathletics to all those athletes selected and their coaches and families as well as the clubs developing these young athletes across the disciplines.
