scottishathletics held their annual hill running training camp in Birnam over the weekend with 20 athletes in attendance.
Presentations were given by Charlotte Morgan (Preparation for World Championship), Sophie Dunnett (Benefits of a Coach) and Linda Canning (Osteopath and pilates instructor – pilates for runners).
The athletes involved were as follows: Catriona Graves, Kirsty Dickson, Caroline Marwick, Lynn McKenna, Charlotte Morgan, Rhone Mowat, Georgia Tindlay, Sam Alexander, Hamish Battle, Tom Berry, Ewan Brown, Gavin Bryson, Alasdair Campbell, James Dunn, James Espie, Ross Gollan, Louis MacMillan, Tom Martin, Cameron Sale and John Yells
Saturday’s session was over a forest loop above Dunkeld and on Sunday the long run was in snowy conditions over Birnam Hill and the hills beyond.
Athletes looked at International Opportunities and the coming season.
