More info

scottishathletics are seeking support from volunteers to help us deliver our sport every year.

There are vacancies on the Track and Field Commission and we would love to hear from anyone interest in these key roles moving forward.

  • Secretary
  • Club representative
  • Coach representative
  • Athlete representative
  • Young athlete representative

The TFC is a key part of the agreed sub-structure of the Scottish Athletics Ltd Board and is one of four Commissions supporting the delivery of the sport and the organisations strategy, Building a Culture of Success (2023-2027).

The TFC has overall responsibility for the planning, delivery and review of all track and field activities delivered by scottishathletics.

The full responsibilities of the TFC are set out in the Terms of Reference. The Commission is chaired by the TFC Convener, Diane Ramsay, who is also a member of the Scottish Athletics Ltd Board.

The Commission is expected to meet up to four times per year. Meetings will mainly be held online, however, in agreement with the Commission face-to-face meetings may be held on occasion.

These are voluntary positions; expenses for travel will be met by scottishathletics, however, at the standard volunteer rate.
