Hearing your voice: Thank you for 870 responses to our recent membership survey

scottishathletics want to thank our members for a strong response to our recent survey.

We were delighted to receive important feedback from more than 870 people from our sport.

The comments are being assessed and analysed in conversations about the direction of travel for athletics in Scotland – as we prepare to finalise our new four-year Strategy.

Following those responses, we have also been holding ‘focus group’ gatherings via our partners at Integratis as another strand of consultation.

‘We are very grateful to receive hundreds of responses to the membership survey as it is important we hear the voice on those inside the sport,’ said our chief executive Colin Hutchison.

‘The feedback and consultation is important in the process as we prepare a new Strategy.

‘We will be working on it over the next few weeks and I plan to give an update to the National Club Conference on November 14.

‘I would then expect us to be completing the Strategy early in 2027 and of course we will be keen to share both that document and the approach that underpins delivery.
