Guests will join students at Grangemouth
Angus McInroy will attempt to reach the Commonwealth Games standard for the second time in discus at the Scottish Universities and Colleges outdoor champs.
And Saturday’s event at Grangemouth will also see some of the men’s 4 x 400m squad in action, as they also seek to post a qualifying time for Glasgow 2014.
In addition to some talented guests, the outdoor champs offer Scottish students a selection platform for the forthcoming International Match. With a Scotland Select team involved as well as Irish Universities, that is now a three-team event on May 31.
This weekend’s event at Grangemouth starts at 10am and guest slots are still available by contacting the SUCA secretary sua2011@hotmail.co.uk
Guests who have already intimated they will attend include are Catriona Pennet(100mh), Kathryn Evans (400m), Jamie Bowie and Kris Robertson (200m), Pat Swan and Sean Watson (400m), Martin Lipton (400mh) and discus thrower McInroy.
Please note students enter on the day. Guests must register with the SUCA secretary and complete the green entry form at declarations at Grangemouth.
