Festive break office closure

Sunday 27th December 2015

Festive Holidays

The scottishathletics offices at Gyle, Edinburgh, will be closed from 4pm on Thursday 24 December for the Christmas and New Year holiday.

It will open again at 9am on Tuesday 5 January 2016.

Online membership and online entries remain open throughout this period via this website, with a series of indoor events at the Emirates Arena looming early in the New Year.

The National Open is on Saturday 16 January and the closing date for entries is midnight on January 5. Remember, we’ve entry number restrictions for four events – 60m, 200m, 800m and long jump – and those places are filling up fast. Use the online entry function for the National Open on our Events section, please.

If you are experiencing difficulties with entering online, in the first instance please ensure that your online membership is up to date.

If there are issues relating to entries to the National Open, please email events@scottishathletics.org.uk BEFORE midnight on Monday 4 January, stating the nature of the problem. Unfortunately, as no late entries can be accepted, any entry queries must be lodged in advance of the closing date (i.e. – emails dated prior to midnight January 4).

Please note, we will not be replying to emails on the National Open until January 6 at the earliest.

Over the course of the break, there will be news stories and features appearing on the website and across our social media channels. We are deeply committed to keeping you up to date on as much as is happening in athletics in Scotland as we can – and we receive a lot of help. It is just possible, however, that we may let the pace drop slightly during the holiday period!
