There is a busy weekend coming up in track and field with events on Saturday and Sunday.
And the Riverside Arena in Ayr is the place to be for the SUPERteams and the 4J National Relays.
Sunday sees the National Relays centre-stage and, as ever, this event has been hugely popular with our clubs.
National titles are up for grabs over various age groups and distances with teams obviously setting out first off to simply get the baton round!
We are absolutely delighted to have no fewer than 277 teams entered for Ayr. This actually matches the tally for Scotstoun last year so a big well done to all clubs who are supporting our track and field events.
Coaches and spectators wishing to attend the national Relays on Sunday can register in advance (this helps reduced queues on the day)

The day before the National Relays, the next generation gather at the same venue for our SUPERteams National Final.
Our U12 athletes always relish these occasions and the regional heat format has helped give these youngsters their first taste of competition.
We now have 21 clubs through to the final and Saturday in Ayr should be a great occasion and a learning and development opportunity as well competing in a fun way.
Our Officials are always brilliant in this regard and we know clubs, and the young athletes, appreciate the support and help from all those in purple and red.
