Eric liddell – the life of an athletics legend
The Eric Liddell 100 is a programme of events and activities to recognise and celebrate the life, sporting and community service achievements of one of Scotland’s iconic figures.
As part of the EL100 programme, scottishathletics will be awarding 20 ‘Eric Liddell Recognition Awards’ throughout the year to celebrate some of the outstanding individuals that contribute to athletics in Scotland.
Award winners will be presented with a unique Eric Liddell 100 pin badge and signed Scotland Joma vest.
Our Eric Liddell Recognition Award winners may also subsequently be nominated for the Eric Liddell 100 Awards 2024 (hosted by the Eric Liddell Community) in November.
Criteria
The criteria for the recognition awards are aligned to the values of the Eric Liddell 100 programme.
We are seeking nominations for individuals who have displayed one or more of the above values in 2024 through their role in athletics in Scotland.
Nominations can be made for anyone involved in athletics in Scotland in any capacity whether that be an athlete, coach, official, club leader or volunteer.
