Entries close Thursday: 4J District Champs and Outdoor Open events

All set for the 4J Outdoor Season – our National Championship dates

The 4J Outdoor Season is just about with us . . . as track and field begins for summer 2022.

And entries close on Thursday for the return of the 4J District Champs at three venues for U17/U15/U13 athletes, with Outdoor Open events for Senior and U20 athletes.

The weekend of May 13-15 has been set aside for these with Inverness, Grangemouth and Kilmarnock our venues as these events return in the format we have piloted in 2019 prior to the global pandemic.

It will take a big effort from scottishathletics, our dedicated Officials and all volunteers, athletes, coaches and parents to make these events happen at three venues and we will be asking for help.

To help facilitate these meetings, the Open events are split across the venues as follows: Sprints and Jumps at Grangemouth; Endurance and Throws at Kilmarnock; all events at Inverness plus 5000m races.

Each District will host the full programme of events for athletes in the U17, U15 and U13 age groups.

Remember; the closing deadline for entries is midnight on Thursday 28 April.
