Enter now for National Open

The Indoor Season for 2017 is coming up soon and already we’re taking hundreds of entries for national events at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

Online entry is open for a number of the events to make it easier for athletes, coaches, parents and clubs to plan ahead.

It all starts in terms of medals on January 4 with the indoor 3000m Champs staged by the Glasgow Athletics Association – but that event is already sold out, with around 180 athletes having taken up the places inside just four days!

So the National Open on Saturday 14 January is a great opportunity for athletes of all ages to post an indoor performance, ahead of championship events thereafter.

There are restricted numbers for the National Open (at around 700 athletes) so please don’t delay if you want the chance to post a performance at that event on January 14.

Two weeks after the Open, Saturday 28 January will see the Seniors and U17 Champs staged at the Emirates Arena as we continue with the format which was piloted a year ago and then proved successful outdoors.

The other Age Group Champs (U13, U15 and U20) are on February 11/12 with the Combined Events, Relays and Masters Champs on Sunday 5 March.
