scottishathletics are looking for an Endurance Manager to add to our current Performance Team staff.

The role is 30 hours per week and the successful applicant will report to our Head of Performance, Mark Pollard.

Mark’s move to that position has left a gap and the Endurance Manager will be handed responsibility for a number of key tasks and projects.

Our athletes and coaches have made a huge impact in recent years across the Endurance event group and it is very important we maintain that momentum moving forward.

‘We’re pleased to now advertise the Endurance Manager role and look forward to hearing from interested applicants,’ said Mark, with applications open until Thursday 7 October.

‘It is an opportunity for someone to work in athletics and try and help us continue to grow the sport in Scotland.

‘There are a range of responsibilities involved in the role and a number of endurance projects which require hands-on leadership as we move out of Covid-19 restrictions and recover momentum.

‘In road running and cross country in particular there are areas we really need to pick up from where we effectively ‘left off’ early in 2020.’

Application forms – deadline is noon on Thursday 7 October
