Eilish McColgan continued her preparation for the TCS London Marathon with a 10k race in America.
And the four-times Olympian came up with her fastest time on the roads since 2022 as she clocked 31:03 at the McKirkdy-Micro 10k at Valley Course, New York.
It was a good solo outing with the win in 31:03 in New York,’ said Eilish on Instagram.
‘Bit by bit I am clawing my way back to full fitness and my splits were strong and consistent (hopefully a good sign for marathon training. It was a freezing cold morning and drizzly so just like running in Scotland.
‘Now it is back to altitude in Colorado for two more weeks.’
