This Sunday will see some 700 athletes gather at Grangemouth Stadium for the annual Round the Houses and Jim Dingwall Memorial 10k.
The race once again hosts the Scottish Athletics East District 10k championships and, for the 15th year in a row, the Scottish Students 10k championships.
This year Scottish Veteran Harriers are also hosting the Scottish Masters 10k championships as part of the race and a stellar masters field including World Record holders, World Championships and European championship medalists will line up to battle for medals.
Entries are still available at the event website with the race starting at 12.30pm by the local Provost Robert Bissett.
Among the entries are recent GB and NI World Cross international, Scott Stirling, and Scottish 10-Mile champion Annabel Simpson.
Cash prizes are up for grabs to the first our individuals both male and female and throughout the masters age groups in 10 year age categories from 40 upwards as well as for U20 athletes.
Race organisers Falkirk Victoria Harriers are grateful to Falkirk Council for their continued support as well as a number of other local sponsors and Police Scotland.
With thanks to Andy Ronald
