The scottishathletics Education Team has now scheduled further online education opportunities for volunteers looking to take the first steps to become a Coaching Assistant or Jog Leader.
A series of blended Leadership in Running Fitness/Jog Leader courses – where participants complete four modules at home and a three-hour practical session – are now available.
Venues for the practical sessions later this spring are Meadowmill, Grangemouth, Aberdeen, Motherwell and Glasgow.
And we are now offering, too, online Coaching Assistant courses with four tutor led modules and a one-day practical session thereafter.
All these courses will take place with the current Covid-19 restrictions fully considered and following guidance set out by Scottish Government and sportscotland. If at some stage we are unable to proceed with the practical sessions then they will be re-scheduled to a later date.
For dates and details of the courses available please check the details in in our coach qualification section here .
Or you can contact the coaching team for more details on coaching@scottishathletics.org.uk
