Young Athletes Road Races at Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston

The Young Athletes Road Races are coming up again next month – at a new venue near Edinburgh.

Severe winter weather forced the cancellation of the 2018 event when it was scheduled for Greenock and unfortunately there was no room to re-schedule those races.

But plans are now well underway for the 2019 version of the Young Athletes Road Races on Sunday 17 March at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston (near Edinburgh Airport).

These are national championship events at U17, U15 and U13 with medals up for grabs for individuals and teams.

In the two older age groups, the races at Ingliston will be very significant in terms of selection for the Scotland teams for the Mini Marathon in London in April.

Clubs are asked to use the link on our Events page and register for entry forms. We already have interest from around two dozen clubs but would love a few more, please!
