Club Together: How clubs invested £1.29million (story from December 2023)

scottishathletics look forward to welcoming delegates for a special Club Together Gathering this weekend.

We’re expecting around 36 folk from 20 different clubs to attend on Friday evening at Stirling Court Hotel, Stirling.

The Club Together meeting will include club officers, club line managers/leaders, clubs considering joining the project and a number of scottishathletics staff.

Our programme on the evening will include a series of short presentations from clubs and scottishathletics on key development topics with opportunities to discuss, share best practice and challenges.

The topics this year will including building your club’s athlete capacity, with Aberdeen AAC and Pitreavie AAC delivering case study presentations.

We are also planning a session around developing your club workforce with a coaching focus, and this will be led by the scottishathletics Coaching and Welfare Team.

Our Club Together Programme is currently in a very strong position with 25 clubs involved and 33 officers delivering over 460 hours per week of club development directly in clubs.
