Chance to land Games equipment

Saturday 7th June 2014

As part of the legacy around the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, some of the sports equipment will become available after the Games for transfer to be used by clubs, Scottish Governing Bodies, Trusts and community groups.

This will help provide a tangible benefit to the people of Scotland after the Games.

In partnership with Glasgow 2014, sportscotland is looking for applicants that can evidence a genuine need and an on-going use for the equipment; leaving a real benefit to Scottish sport after the Games.

The available equipment is listed via the link below.

Much of the equipment being used at the Games is hired, supplied by the venues or will be retained in Glasgow afterwards, so only the items shown are available. The equipment listed is available free of change and delivered to the agreed delivery address you supply.

However, any subsequent installation costs, pre-works, assembly costs or modifications required will need to fully met by the end user. (An example of this would be laying foundations for Rugby posts).

Applications will close on June 20.
