Bound for Italy: Eight young hill runners picked for International Youth Cup in June

scottishathletics are delighted to confirm selections for the International Youth Cup in hill running next month.
Eight young athletes in the U18 age category have been picked to represent Scotland in Italy.
The races take place on Saturday 21 June and this event draws the very best young hill runners in Europe and America.
Congratulations to our eight athletes and their families and coaches on being picked for the International Youth Cup.
Our Scotland team selection features representatives of eight different clubs which reflects well on the interest across the country and the support from coaches and club volunteers.
U18 Women
Lucia Connell (Strathearn Harriers), Nancy Corrie (Harmeny AC), Anna Meek (Inverness Harriers), Holly Simpson (Giffnock North)
U18 Men
Jack Foley (Moorfoot), Joel Gillan (Central AC), Ben Hodson (Stewartry), Billy Sutherland (Ross County)
Selections follow on from the recent trial races at the Scottish Junior Hill Champs at Broughton near Biggar.
