Video content which promotes our sport very much comes under the heading: Things We Love to See.

Two of three years ago we had a run of club video stories which are lodged on our YouTube channel.

So it was good to receive an excellent contribution in this space from one of our oldest clubs – Bellahouston Harriers, who were formed in 1892.

Thanks to Harriers comms officer, Iain Muirhead, and club president, Scott Mason, for asking us to share on our platforms.

Videographer Flynn Smith has captured brilliantly the Glasgow south side club and indeed delivered an absorbing window on our sport.

Here’s the blurb from Bella on their wee film . . .

‘At Bellahouston Harriers, there is a lot of history behind the Saltire vest – but what keeps a club relevant after more than 130 years is its people.

‘We’ve produced a short video, working with videographer Flynn Smith. Watch it to get a glimpse of a Thursday night track session and to hear directly from some of our members about what they value most about Bellahouston Harriers.

‘At simplest; we are everyday people who like to run. The video helps to tell our story. Different speeds. Different distances. Different surfaces. Different goals.

‘But brought together by running, and by everything that comes with being part of a club. Support. Camaraderie. PBs. Learning from others. Shared knowledge and experience. Structured training. And, importantly, pals.

‘This is no big sales pitch – just a little snapshot of the people, training and community that make our club what it is. Have a watch. 💙 #NilDesperandum
