Eilidh Doyle will be our Guest of Honour for the 4J Annual Awards in Glasgow later this year.

The 4J Annual Awards Dinner will take place on Saturday 28 October at the Hilton Hotel, William Street, Glasgow.

And we are delighted that multiple global medallist Eilidh will be our Guest of Honour that night to assist us in presenting a whole range of awards.

Eilidh, of course, won silver medals at the Commonwealth Games three times in a row in 20219, 2014 and 2018 and was European champion in the 400m Hurdles in Zurich in 2014. Scotland’s most decorated track and field athlete also won World and Olympic medals in relays.

Now a member of the scottishathletics Board and working in a development role for sportscotland, the Pitreavie AAC legend can’t wait to help us celebrate with the athletics community in Scotland at the Dinner on October 28.

‘I’m really delighted to be Guest of Honour at the 4J Annual Awards evening,’ said Eilidh.

‘I’ve been to the scottishathletics and jogscotland awards many times over the years and the highlights have always been listening to the stories and journeys of the Guest of Honour.

‘So to now be one myself and be associated with those guests who have attended in the past, it is a real privilege and I can’t wait to be there!

‘I’m really excited to celebrate all the amazing achievements that have happened, and are still to happen, this year.

‘Every year is exciting with various events and championships taking place but sometimes you can be so caught up in the moment, you don’t get a chance to reflect and celebrate properly.

‘The 4J Annual Awards give us that opportunity to look back and take our time to celebrate the success of athletics in Scotland at all levels and in all roles.’
