Key info for Aberdeen

The 4J Indoor Qualifying Heats are in Aberdeen this weekend as we complete our mini tour of Scotland!

After events in Ayr and Fife, this time the superb facility at Aberdeen Sports Village hosts athletes hopeful of making progress to our 4J National Finals Weekend in Grangemouth.

There’s action on Friday evening and two full days indoors over Saturday and Sunday with key information about Aberdeen in the link above.

We’re delighted to have around 250 athletes expected to compete across the three days. Thanks to all of those athletes and their coaches and spectators for patience and support.

And we say thanks in advance to our dedicated team of scottishathletics Officials who are making this Indoor Season happen.

Start-lists for Aberdeen are on the link below and this becomes Live Results.

There was a nice moment at Pitreavie last weekend as we said a huge thank you to retiring Official, Dugie (Dugald) MacDonald from Lochaber AC.

After many years as a timekeeper, last weekend was Dugie’s last in terms of Scottish Athletics events.

Mike Forrest, as a former Head of Discipline for Timekeeping, make a special presentation at the end of the action last Saturday afternoon.

Big thank you to Dugie and best wishes from everyone in our sport.
