The Scottish 3000m Champs are coming to the Emirates Arena on Friday 3 January – as the first National championships of 2020 are staged.
Medals are up for grabs in national championships at Senior, U20 and U17 level and among those listed are the likes of James McMurray, Hamish Armitt, Ryan Thomson, Michael Fergsuon and Kane Elliott.
On the women’s side, we’re seeing names like Dorottya Csuta, Anna Hedley, Cade Wright and Hannah Anderson.
There is a women’s 600m which looks as though it could be very competitive with the likes of Jill Cherry, Mhairi Patience, Mhairi Hendry and Holly McArthur on the start-list.
It should be a superb night of athletics and we’re delighted now to be able to share start-lists for the event organised by the Glasgow Athletics Association.
As always, we offer a big thank you to the GAA, the British Milers Club, pacers, volunteers and helpers and to our scottishathletics Officials who are on duty on Friday. The support is much appreciated.
The documents lodged on our Events page give the start-lists, athlete information and the timetable for Friday 3 January.
