
Scotland men all came up with PB runs at the Antrim Coast Half Marathon

Scotland athletes raced on the road at the Antrim Coast Half Marathon event in Northern Ireland on Sunday.
The main event was preceded by the 5k race with Scotland represented over both distances.
Our men came up with strong runs in the Half Marathon race as all three delivered PB runs:
Andrew Fyfe 63:17 for 12th; Hamish Hickey 64:05 for 15th and Ryan Thomson 64:30 for 19th.
Steph Pennycook was the fastest in the Women’s race with a run of 74:16 for 14th place. Following Steph home were:
Katrina Ballantyne at 77:06 for 18th and Eilidh Bell at 78:19 for 24th.

Corstorphine AAC athlete Angus Smith came up with an excellent performance to take third place in the Men’s 5k at 13:55.
Peter Bradshaw was fifth in 14:05 as Alasdair Kinloch (14:10) and Ben Macmillan (14:11) finished 10th and 11th.
Gala Harriers athlete Katie Rourke was best placed Scot in the Women’s 5k at 16:07 with Anya Maclean at 16:17. Kirsty Walker clocked 16:32 and Grace Whelan ran 16:55.
